Our Program
Urban Corps Charter School provides conservation corps students with an accelerated, technology-rich learning program designed to address young people’s simultaneous needs for high school education and job training.
Students ages 18-26 who didn’t succeed in a traditional school setting thrive in UCCS’ academically challenging WASC-accredited learning environment thanks to a low student to teacher ratio, grouped learning models, paid on-the-job skills training, and integrated technology in the classroom.
Common Core certified instruction and the use of time-dedicated caring volunteers, combined with an onsite counseling program, support services, and one-on-one transitional guidance provides a well-rounded program that meets the academic and emotional needs of our students.
