National School Lunch Program

Urban Corps Charter School participates in the School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLP) to provide nutritious meals to students. Our school contracts with Top Notch to provide students with a healthy, delicious breakfast and lunch. Through its participation in Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), all schools at UCCS provide universal meals without needing to collect a meal application.

We urge students and advocates in the community to join our School Wellness Committee and provide input on the UCCS School Wellness Policy. The UCCS School Wellness Committee meets twice yearly, in July and December. Please join us at our next meeting. Click here to download the current UCCS Wellness Policy. Every 3 years, UCCS conducts a triennial assessment of the implementation and effectiveness of the local school wellness policy which is then reviewed by the school's board of directors.
